Users come in all shapes and sizes. Your employees, who work in your library or Knowledge Center, will be more skilled in working with Bibis LMS than will "digital" transients. In order to make it as easy as possible for the latter category to find the information they want, Bibis LMS is equipped with an extraordinarily powerful search program, the on-line public catalogue (OPAC).

Verity's search engine really gets going here. You can not only do a full-text search, all the fields that you want and think are important have been indexed as well. In order to give a good overview, the titles found are sorted according to their score within the ranking or according to one of the fields found.

The user can choose themself from the various display programs, as a result of which he/she is able to make optimal use of it. This is a good example of "self-service". Abbreviated displays with a selection facility for more information mean that it is possible to penetrate to the lowest level, so-called "drill-down searching".
